The Artemis Studio team provides a permanent open call for artists in residency. Our experience in hospitality for more than 30 years, together with the artistic background, created this need with the aim of launching a wider creative dialogue. Artists, irrespective of age and nationality, from all disciplines, visual artists, musicians, dancers, performers or others, are invited to propose an idea or a project for implementation on local culture.
The history of Ikaria, archaeologically and politically, along with the natural environment that combines the sea, mountains and rivers, provides a dynamic very fertile for creation.
All interested artists are invited to send to info@artemis-studio.gr a sample of their recent artistic work, CV, possible dates of stay, and the idea they will work on.
The program includes free stay for 10 days during the months of October - May, as well as the use of Artemis Studio 's workshops.
Each artist will be able to publicly present his work he has created before the end of his stay.
